# Deactivate Account

> Disable your public profile and log out.

Deactivation hides your profile and disables your account. You can reactivate by signing in again if your email is already verified.

<Steps>
  1. Open Dashboard → Account Settings.
  2. Click “Deactivate Account”.
  3. Confirm the prompt.
  4. You’ll be logged out and returned to the homepage.
